This country was the legacy of our revered martyrs and the hope of new generations.

Against the discipline of despair

Today, the thing we are taught most is despair.

A silent, habitual, almost polite despair.

“Nothing will come of this country.”

“No matter who comes, it won’t change.”

“It’s always been this way, and it will always be this way.”

This is exactly where we need to stop.

Because these sentences are not an observation, but a surrender.

What we call decay spreads not through noise,

but through habit.

And we have become accustomed to this habit.

Yes, this system isn’t just not working, it has become dysfunctional.

Yes, meritocracy has been reduced to a mere ornament in many places.

Yes, labor often doesn’t find its reward, and instead of production, a system built on relationships speaks.

And perhaps the most dangerous thing is this:

The biggest problem in this country is an unwritten agreement.

Everyone knows the truth, but silence is often preferred.

But the real danger isn't these things.

The real danger is the normalization of all this.

People starting to consider not working as "cleverness,"

avoiding responsibility as "conformity,"

and silence as "maturity."

But history tells us something else.

The greatest transformations emerge from the most seemingly ordinary moments.

They begin when no one believes them, they grow when no one expects them.

It's no coincidence that things once called "impossible" are now commonplace realities. Because societies don't progress in straight lines.

They accumulate. They remain silent. They wait.

Then, somewhere, they break.

When that breaking point arrives,

people who wouldn't even greet each other yesterday stand side by side.

Those who said "I'm useless" yesterday,

suddenly become everything.

Those who think this is romanticism are wrong.

This isn't a fairy tale of hope.

This is the nature of societies.

But it's also true:

This breaking point doesn't happen spontaneously.

What prepares it are the small, accumulating discomforts.

Ignored injustices, suppressed objections, postponed anger.

And most importantly:

A few stubborn people who never give up saying, "Maybe it will change."

Being an opposition figure is not just about opposing, it's about questioning what is accepted.

Being an opposition figure means choosing not to accept a system that everyone else accepts.

What we need to do today is not make grand pronouncements.

Neither expect heroism nor miracles.

Not seeing normalized wrongs as normal.

That is the greatest betrayal a person can commit against themselves.

Because change will definitely happen one day!

And when that day comes,

those who are most prepared will not be the angriest,

but those who have held onto hope the longest.

The issue is not just

being right, but not giving up and not remaining silent.

Silence is the biggest accomplice of this system.
