ÇETİN AY SAYS, "THE FRONT OF THE TELEVISION IS ONE THING, THE BACK IS ANOTHER...!"

Today, politics in the world is this:

One thing is said in front of the camera,

and completely different steps are taken when the camera is off.

For years, Turkey sat at the table with America and the European Union.

What did they say in front of the cameras?

Turkey is our ally.

Turkey is our NATO partner.

Turkey's enemy is also our enemy.

But the camera was off.

They gave weapons to those Turkey calls terrorists,

openly offered support,

and deliberately left Turkey alone on the ground.

That wasn't enough.

They did everything they could to divide Turkey.

As a result of this support, we lost approximately 60,000 martyrs,

billions of dollars were wasted.

Everyone sees this picture now.

But the real breaking point is this:

The same method was applied this time inside Turkey,

against its own citizens.

This perception didn't only come from America and Europe;

it was also used against citizens in domestic politics.

What was said in front of the cameras?

"Turkey is growing."

“We don’t need anyone.”

“We’ve made a leap forward in defense.”

“We’ve become a regional power.”

“Justice will come.”

“Islam will grow stronger.”

Now let’s ask.

Let’s ask clearly.

Let’s ask without evasion.

Since we are so powerful,

why do we have to wait at America’s door for F-16s, even the old model of which is outdated?

Since we were building our own aircraft,,

why are we still dependent on F-35s?

Since we were independent in defense,,

why have we come to a point where we have to wait at the door to buy Rafale from the French?

Since we had a say in the region,,

why did we become the side that lost its say at the negotiating table in Syria?

Since we were fighting terrorism without compromise,,

why did we start calling those we call “terrorists” “leaders,” and addressing them as “Mr.”?

Since terrorism was going to end,,

why are our borders still surrounded by armed groups?

If the economy was booming,

why did inflation crush pensioners, workers, and civil servants?

If everyone was getting richer,,

why are 43 million people struggling to live while indebted to banks?

If everything was under control,,

why did the foreign debt reach $600 billion?

If we were going to be more just,,

if religion and spirituality were going to strengthen,,

why did Deism increase so rapidly in Turkey?

Why did young people become disillusioned not with religion,

but with injustice, hypocrisy, and contradiction?

If this country was so strong,,

why are citizens getting poorer every month?

These are not enemy questions.

These are not opposition slogans at all.

These are questions that are stuck in the throat of the nation.

Because now everyone sees this:

What is said in front of the camera is one thing,

what is experienced in life is completely different.

There is a perception.

The truth is being suppressed.

And now only one question remains:

How much longer will this country be governed by advertising,

how far will it truly run away?

When a country begins to be governed by perception,,

the price of truth is paid most heavily by the nation.

None of these questions can be left unanswered. Because these questions are not about politics, but about life.

And one day;

those who govern this country with cameras,

those who cover up the truth,

those who survive through perception,

will have to answer each and every one of these questions.
